Printable or email data from doforms into a form that resembles an invoice or work order

I would like to do so also and to be able to send the PDF from the mobile app in real time ( regulation orders ).

There are two ways to create a PDF from the doForms website. Both methods are in the View Data tab.

Method 1 – Print a ONE record in your form into ONE PDF document:
1. Go to the View Data tab and select the desired form.
2. Click on the Row Menu of the row that you wish to print as a PDF (the Row Menu is the little box with the down arrow at the left of each row).
3. Select Print
4. A new window will open with a Print Preview (make sure pup-ups are not blocked in you browser)
5. At the top of the page you will see a Page Settings option that provides numerous formatting controls. With these you can choose one or two columns, insert your company logo, include a location map, and more.
6. At the top of the new window you can select Save PDF or Email PDF.

Method 2 – Print ALL the records in your form into ONE PDF document:

1. Go to the View Data tab and select the form that you wish to save as a PDF.
2. Click on the File menu
3. Select Save as ... > PDF

Method 2 provides very little control of the formatting, and we generally suggest users export data into Excel or Google Docs if they would like a higher level of formatting control. Then open the exported file in the desired program, make the desired format in changes, and save the document as a PDF.
Email PDF from the doForms Mobile App (Paid Account Only)

In order to email a PDF form the doForms mobile app, you must insert an “Email Report” question widget into the form when building it. The position of the Email Report” question widget in the form does not matter. The PDF will be sent at the same time when the completed form is sent toi your doForms website.

To add an “Email Report” question widget into the form:
1. Open the form in the Build Forms tab.
2. Drag and drop the “Email Report” question widget into the desired location
3. Save your form when done.

To control the format of the PDFs:
1. Go to the View Data tab and select the desired form.

I'm looking for an app that allows my technicians to complete client specific paper work from their mobile device. I was hoping that doforms would be my solution. My need is to be able to have a mobile technician complete required data fields on a job site and then be able to select a format (client supplied) to send the data in. We provide general the same services to multiple large clients that each insist we complete their forms for their work. Is there a way that doforms an help us?

The "standard" output options in doForms are generic. And while it is possible to control the format to some extent, options are limited.
